It’s the festive season. It’s a time for spending time with our family and loved ones; a time for relaxing and reflecting on the year that has just been; it’s a time to think about what we want going into next year, and also a time to shop for perfect gifts for friends, family and ourselves.
I’ve been excited to put together these gift guides for a little while now. It’s quite funny that Welluvia’s original concept was actually for an online curated gift list, called ‘The Fourth Olsen Sister’. While I may have shelved that initial idea to create a wellness site (and I’m glad I did), I have always particularly enjoyed putting together items that everyone will love. I’m a researcher at heart. I’ve always been deep diving the internet for things like music and movies that aren’t that well-known, and that same habit comes to finding items that are special and interesting.
As Christmas is just around the corner and people are pretty much gift-giving and shopping all summer long, the goal for these gift guides is not just for Christmas but for the whole season. For this reason, I will be updating these guides weekly until the end of January, so check back to see what other items have been added!
I’ve broken down the gift guides into five categories:
The Wellness Gift Guide: Give the gift of wellbeing. This guide is particularly useful for the health freaks among us, and those who are looking at bringing in the new year in optimum form.
The Style Gift Guide: This gift guide is catered to perfect new season wardrobe staples and accompaniments from some of my favourite brands.
The Men’s Gift Guide: Men can sometimes be hard to shop for. This guide has a bit of everything - men’s style, tech, alcohol and fitness.
The Food & Home Gift Guide: This guide is catered to those looking for beautiful pieces to add to someone’s (or their own) home. There is also a selection of food items I love, and you (or the receiver) will love too.
The Beauty Gift Guide: This guide hosts a variety of products from clean beauty essentials, to future tech to elevate our beauty routines.
